Writing - Ever heard the phrase “content is king”? Well, it’s true. And very special content commands the attention of search engines and the bulk of web surfers. People want text! They want new stories, how-to guides, and informative reports each single day, just like they would expect from their local newspaper.

There can never be enough new content on the web. And because people want to read the latest headlines, search engines are constantly tracking down the latest and greatest content on the internet and pushing it to the top of the search results. This means that anybody who can put together a cohesive sentence has a legitimate shot at making money online.

You can start your own free blog and make money by linking to affiliate products. Or you can write articles and content for websites and get paid for your prose. You can also write your own eBook and partner up with an affiliate network, gaining thousands of on the web salesman overnight! On the internet, writing is one of the strongest capabilities a person can have if they want to earn an on the web income.

Surveys - When it comes to surveys, do believe the hype! I’ve personally experimented with these sites to test their legitimacy and amazingly enough, I did get paid for completing simple surveys. The pay range is typically low, anywhere from $1 to $3 for a short survey. But I found that I could complete a $1 survey about every 5 minutes, which is roughly $12 an hour. That is not bad for sitting on your butt and typing on the keyboard.

To earn a decent wage by taking surveys, you will need to be extremely organized and (more importantly) disciplined! If you are a stay at home mom or you have a few extra hours to burn each day, you can definitely earn a nice monthly paycheck by participating in on the web survey programs.
